The Syrian Journalists underlined that referendum on a new constitutional term for President Bashar al-Assad is a referendum on Syria's firm principles and stances in the face of all schemes targeting the Arab nation's dignity and its historic identity.In a statement, Syrian Journalists' Union asserted the strategic importance of referendum in the nation's life … this referendum which meets our peoples' aspirations in a leader who truly expresses their hops to restore the Arab rights and liberate the occupied Arab territories.The statement called people to practice their duty and right on the day of referendum due on May 27th.

The General Union of Peasants on Tuesday called Syrian people to practice their constitutional right of referendum on a new term for President Bashar al-Assad due on May 27th.

"The referendum comes during a crucial time of our Arab nation which witnesses a lot of events… these events proved the correctness of Syrian stances and commitment to national and pan-Arab rights that were embodied by President al-Assad through his attitudes at the Arab and international circles," a statement for the Union said on referendum.

"Referendum means backing the national and pan-Arab stances in restoring the lands and rights as well as liberating our occupied soil… it means defeating projects of dominance aiming at controlling the region and stealing its resources," it added.

The statement underlined that peasants renew commitment to the development and modernization process, showing support to the firm stances of President al-Assad, saying "the peasants will practice their duty and right on the day of referendum."

The Arab Democratic Union Party has described May 27th , the date when the referendum will be held on a new presidential term of office for President Bashar al-Assad , as a historic juncture in Syria's history and a continuation of the modernization process.

In a statement issued on Wednesday , the party said that the referendum will be a real one on the major option including steadfastness, sovereignty, dignity and pride of the nation.

The statement called on all the citizens for active participation in the referendum .

Meantime, the National al-Ahad "The national Pledge" Party has underlined that the referendum on new constitutional term for President Bashar al-Assad is a national option whereby our people through it are translating all the struggle values and offering the sublime sacrifices which will still be significant points in our modern history.

The Party said Wednesday in a statement that what has been achieved in the fields of economy, legislations, laws and other various services since the last seven years has pushed reform and construction process forward, boosting basis of the national economy and the internal structure in Syria.

The statement also called on all the citizens on May 27th to stress their national firm principles that have gathered all the Syrians to build their future that meets all their needs.

Dentists Syndicate also underlined that the referendum on a new term is a referendum on completing the march of building and stability and restoring all the occupied lands.

In a statement, the Syndicate added that May 27th is a referendum on supporting education, scientific research, calling for making this date as a national day to stress adherence to President al-Assad's method and firm principled stances.

For its part, Teachers Syndicate underlined that the referendum is an assertion on continuation of progress and prosperity process in all domains in Syria.

In a statement, the Executive Bureau of Teachers Syndicate said that "participation of teachers in the popular referendum affirms adherence to President al-Assad's political stances regarding the ongoing events in the region where the results have proved correctness of his stances and his ability to read the future."

The Syrian Nationalist Social Party has underlined that the referendum on a new constitutional term for President Bashar al-Assad means a referendum on the state policy of invincibility , strength and growth. In a statement issued on Friday , the  party said that participation in the referendum , is an expression of absolute support to all the national and pan-Arab principles , and to all the modernization and development policies which have been consolidated by President Bashar al-Assad . The statement added that the participation in the referendum would be an affirmation of the rejection of any dialogue that would lead to dictates that do not respect sovereignty.

 The Arab Writers Union has stressed that the referendum on a new constitutional term for President Bashar al-Assad  crowns the national and pan-Arab action and steadfastness against suspected conspiracies and plots. In a statement issued on Friday, the writers underlined the  security and stability Syria is enjoying under the leadership  of President Assad whose stances have always been a source of pride and appreciation.

 Sports General Federation, in a statement, expressed allegiance and loyalty to President al-Assad, underscoring that nomination him for a new constitutional term is the option of allegiance, reason and logic. For this occasion sportsmen in Damascus organized a mass race where racers moved from Mezza avenue towards Umayyad square to join citizens gathering in tent of  Menhebak ''we love you ''. " Sportsmen are looking for participation in the referendum due on May 27th to attain what they have aspired to in the upcoming stage." Chairman of Sports General Federation Faisal al-Basri said.

The Syrian Foreign Ministry on Sunday called Syrian citizens abroad who completed 18-years old to participate in the referendum on a new constitutional term for the republic presidency post due on May 27th. In a statement , the Foreign Ministry called all Syrian citizens to participate in the referendum at centers established for this purpose in Syrian Embassies and General and honorable Consulates, in addition to the other centers at main cities as from 8 a.m till  8 b.m by local time . "For further information, the Syrian Expatriates can contact the Syrian diplomatic missions and the Syrian communities in the countries they reside in." The statement added.

The   Syrians of the Israeli-occupied Syrian Golan Heights expressed pride in nominating President Bashar al-Assad for a new constitutional term, said a statement sent to SANA. The Golan citizens expressed commitment to their Syrian identity and their belonging to Syria, affirming their aspiration of liberating the entire Golan, guided by the speech given by President al-Assad at Parliament in which he affirmed that the occupied Golan is Syrian and non-negotiable.

 The Citizens of Quneitra affirmed, in a public meeting on the occasion of the referendum, their commitment to the national course and principles and the path of reform and development. The citizens expressed their pride of Syria's stances under the leadership of President al-Assad towards Arab causes, referring to the achievements witnessed by the governorate in the past seven years. They also stressed that the 27th of May is an important opportunity to express the free will of the Syrian people.

 Syrian Lawyers Union affirmed in a statement on Sunday the lawyers' commitment to participating in the referendum for a new constitutional term for President Bashar al-Assad. The Lawyers expressed their pride in Syria's national course and pointed out to the legislative, economic, cultural and social achievements in the past seven years.

  Muslim scholars affirmed in a public meeting on Monday that referendum on a new constitutional term for President Bashar al-Assad supports and affirms modernization and building the country's future. The scholars pointed out that Syria under the leadership of President al-Assad has witnessed a constructional and development renaissance, with various places of worship, religious institutes and charities that care about the poverty and orphans and provide for them education and healthcare. Scholars added that Syria has overcome pressures and challenges thanks to its deep-rooted national unity.

The Syrian Veterans affirmed today in a statement that referendum on a new constitutional term for President Bashar al-Assad supports the course of steadfastness, construction, development, dignity and liberation. Veterans stated that the wide scale public participation on the 27th of May is an affirmation of adherence to the honorable stances and values of President al-Assad, the stances which express the nation's aspirations for more achievements. 

The Baath Vanguard Organization (Tala'i al-Baath ) stressed that nomination of President Bashar al-Assad for a second constitutional term is an affirmation on continuation of growth and progress process that Syria is witnessing. In a statement, the organization indicated to what have been achieved in Syrian on political and economic levels, building constitutional institutions and boosting role of popular syndicates as well as on Syria's role on regional and international levels.

 Al-Baath Arab Socialist Party in Yemen affirmed in a statement on Monday that Syria under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad has become a regional force. The statement said that President al-Assad is a national leader who has overcome challenges facing Syria and the Arab nation and dealt with them with political wisdom and civilized discourse, adding that the national course led by President al-Assad is a source of pride for all honest Arabs.

 Damascus Chamber of Industry expressed on Sunday support to the development and modernization process in Syria under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad. "We appreciate President al-Assad's care about the industrial sector which effectively contributes to boosting national economy, members of the Chamber said in a statement on the occasion of referendum on a new constructional term for President al-Assad.  The statement added "directives of the President to develop productions and industries are considered a work method to promote national manufactures." 

 The Arab Student Organizations at Aleppo University underlined Sunday that nominating President Bashar al-Assad for a new constitutional term meant to meet the popular will and wise desire to continue progress and development process in Syria. In a statement, the Arab Students said that the leading features of President al-Assad enabled him to continue developing and boosting the national unity and preserving the national decision. "Syrian people's support to President al-Assad leadership constitutes a true expression of their aspirations for a progressive future to Syria."  the statement added.

The Syrian Community in Beijing stressed on Wednesday that referendum on a new constitutional term for President Bashar al-Assad is a  day of renewing confidence and loyalty to the leader who has protected Syria and faced all conspiracies. The Syrian Community said in a statement that the participation in the referendum is an assertion to boost the national unity in Syria and enhance its political position. 

In Budapest, the Syrian expatriates stressed that President al-Assad's leadership proved that Syria's role in the region is essential no matter how Syria's enemies try to harm this role. In a statement, they added that "development process in the country gave momentum to the Syrian citizen to improve his future and live in a stable and secure atmosphere."

 Archbishops in Homs affirmed in a statement on Tuesday that the nomination of President Bashar al-Assad for a second constitutional term comes as an answer to the aspirations of the people to continue the process of reform and liberation, and that it is an honest expression of the people's will. They added that President al-Assad realized many of the people's aspirations during the past seven years, and that these years were full of achievements on all fronts, which enabled Syria to face challenges and pressures and remain committed to firm principles. The statement pointed out to the mutual coexistence and fraternity among the people of Syria, which comes as a result of the people's awareness and their support to President al-Assad to continue the process of development.
