Palestinian Popular Front Denies Mehlis Report Accusations Damascus, October 21, (SANA) Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, General Commandment totally denied on Friday any ties to assassination of a former Lebanese Prime Minister as the report of UN investigation said. " We have no ties whatsoever to the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister and the report is made for political ends and defined goals as we were surprised when we heard of our name enlisted in the report," Assistant Secretary General of the front Talal Naji told Al-Jazira satellite channel. Naji wondered whether the international investigating committee has any information about the involvement of any of the popular front members and why did they contacted us over these information. He added the "committee settled for one witness whom it did not mention his name or identify neither do we know him."
