Report of International Investigation Committee lacks objectivity, Syrian Jurisdiction Experts say.

Damascus, Oct. 23 (SANA)

Syrian Jurisdiction circles have denounced the content of the report of the international investigation committee regarding the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri, asserting that it is a political statement which lacks objectivity, credibility and evidence on which accusations can be built.

In a statement to al-Thawra daily on Sunday, the judge Ghassan Assad said that the report constitutes a number of political analyses and conclusions and didn’t include any accusation or evidence that are based on logical, scientific and judiciary basis.

On the other hand Member of the People's Assembly Ramadan Atiya said that the report has lost the truth on who is the real party behind this crime , asserting that the report has deviated from it main target, which is unveiling the truth, to achieve American and Israeli interests.

Member of the Permanent Bureau of Arab Bar Association Yasen Ghanem said the aim of transferring the case of Hariri Assassination to an international committee is not uncovering the truth but to put pressures on Syria due to its national and firm stances, asserting that the report is based on rumors.

Chairman of Tartus Bar Association Branch Ahmad Omran al-Zawi said from the judiciary point of view, the report is not a decision but a political report, adding that the report is very far from being a legal work.
