Syrian Kurdish witness Husam Taher Husam yesterday appeared on the Syrian T.V where he totally distanced himself away from testimony and disclosed in details the way they used him as a fake witness against Syria.
Husam ,the masked witness whom German prosecutor Detlev Mehlis totally relied on his false witness, refuted Mehlis's report which included groundless accusations against Syria.
Husam added that the information branch, affiliated to the Lebanese intelligence, raided his house after the withdrawal of the Syrian Arab forces from Lebanon and imprisoned him on a charge of involvement in a blast in one of the Lebanese areas.
Husam went on to say that Fares Khashan, Hariri's advisor, visited him in the prison offering him to set him free and to ensure a luxurious life if he give a false evidence against Syria and the Syrian officers as well for a deal estimated at millions of Dollars. The amount of money was offered by Saad Hariri in one of his meetings with him.
Husam spoke in details about the plot already prepared to involve Syria in the assassination through fabricating lies where Khashan had the upper hand .Moreover; Khashan played the role of savior. Saad Hariri asked Husam to carry out everything Khashan asked him to do.
Husam also spoke in details about the story of the Mitsubishi car, which was used in the explosion that targeted President Hariri.
The story was created by Khashan and one of the Lebanese intelligence elements. Husam said that Khashan taught him what to say about the said story and other stories such as the alleged phone call Husam received from one of the Syrian officers in addition to related fabrications.
Husam affirmed that all Lebanese politicians he met such as Waleed Junbulat, Marwan Hamada, Ghazi Aridi, Gubran Thweini and Saad Hariri ,who took part in the game, offered him big money temptations adding that he was subjected to immense psychological pressures included an injection that paralyzed his movement for many days.
Husam indicated that the international committee received the Hariri family; the future block who is members at the parliament at its headquarters at Monte Verdi .The committee also received reporters from Future T.V and Al-Mustaqbal paper.
Husam pointed out that the committee agreed upon orders from the Hariri family to record his sayings.
Husam said that he tried to escape from prison three times .After each time they arrested him ,he was subjected to torture and intimidation only to complete his false testimony.
Husam also spoke about the role played by Jubran Thweini in introducing another witness to the international committee called Ziad Halabi.
He strongly attacked the Lebanese media for its role in promoting lies mentioning a number of Lebanese journalists who have relations with the American embassy in addition to the visits paid by the French ambassador to the headquarters of the international committee.
Husam expressed his readiness to give testimony before any international court and to meet Lebanese politicians, journalists and security officials who fabricated lies.
In Beirut, Al-Safir paper said that two different sources confirmed that Husam is the same masked witness who appeared before the international committee.
